Grout is a mixture of cement, color, and sand. It is porous and, as a result, grout easily absorbs grease, dirt and lime scale. Floor manufacturers recommend that you have your tile and grout cleaned once every 12 to 18 months because regular mopping just doesn’t reach the stubborn dirt that lies deep in the pores of your grout lines, but our high-pressure cleaning process does.

Maryland Carpet Cleaning Services LLC

Microscopic pores in the grout allow dirt and other contaminants to become trapped below the surface, where it can’t be removed by regular mopping and cleaning. This is why it’s so important to hire an experienced professional to clean your tile and grout on a regular basis. Maryland Carpet Cleaning Services llc specializes in cleaning tile and grout and restoring it to near new appearance.

We use the most highly recommended process to clean tile and grout: a steam extraction method involving extremely hot water, detergents, water pressure and vacuum extraction. Steam extraction machines dislodge dirt packed in the tiny holes in your grout lines and lift it out. We use a truck mounted cleaning process that power washes the floor to extract soil and grease from the pores of the tile and grout or other hard surface floors. The system we  use generates water pressure of 1,000 PSI and a water temperature of approximately 180 degrees to soften and extract years of soil and contaminants. The vacuum hose draws away the water, along with the dirt, to a containment tank on our van and we dispose of the waste in accordance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.

Even if your grout isn’t currently discolored, it pays to protect your grout lines and keep them looking good. Regular application of our sealant will keep stains beaded up on the surface of your grout lines give you enough time to wipe up dirt and spills before they are absorbed. Absorbed stains could permanently discolor your grout, and ground in dirt could cause your grout to weaken and break down. Protect your grout. Ask us to apply a clear or color sealant each time we come out to clean your tile and grout.
